Wesley’s Way Foundation is helping to bring some joy this holiday season to children in the Outer Banks as part of our Wesley’s Wheels initiative. We were able to purchase and donate an assortment of gifts to be distributed by the Outer Banks Woman’s Club as part of their Angel Gift program for 2020.

Gifts include the following:

  • 22 toys, such as cars, trucks, and airplanes
  • 11 bicycles
  • 1 scooter

One of our missions is to provide assistance to those in our community. Since 2020 has caused food insecurity for a great number of people, Wesley’s Way has donated some shelf-stable food items to an inner city church. The church has frequent homeless individuals visit their doors looking for “instant ” food or water to eat immediately, and our foundation wanted to help provide some of those items.

Donated items include granola bars, peanut butter crackers, breakfast bars, fruit cups, pudding, water, juice, tuna pouches, Vienna sausages, nuts, canned chicken, and shelf-stable milk.

Wesley’s Way Foundation understands that many families need help during this pandemic. Our foundation recently provided a donation to Emily’s Place of Manchester, NH and Marguerite’s Place of Nashua, NH. Both of these organizations help families in need in our community, and we wanted to help support these families during this time of great uncertainty. Thank you to both organizations for the important work that you do.

With children out of school indefinitely due to the pandemic, Wesley’s Way wants to ensure that children are still being fed. Many children depend on meals received at school, which poses a problem when the schools are closed.

The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester is developing plans to prepare and deliver meals to children in the city. At Wesley’s Way, we think this is a valuable effort, so we have provided some financial support to help make this happen.

Wesley’s Way Foundation is proud to donate 127 toys and 55 books as part of the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop in 2019!

This is our second year providing toys and books to children for the holiday season.

Our foundation was also grateful to participate in the setup of the toy shop and with the distribution of toys to the families who attended the event.
